Exhibition opening, Voyage Voyages

📍MuCEM, Marseille

▪️ iDzia Setup : Sound, Light

The "Voyage Voyages" exhibition invites us to experience its creative vastness, which finds a natural home at the MuCEM, a place that has prioritized dialogue between cultures since its opening. The exhibition presents around one hundred works (paintings, sculptures, installations, drawings, photographs, videos) from both public and private collections, with a particular focus on the collections of the Centre Pompidou / Musée national d'art moderne and the modern and contemporary collections of the museums of Marseille.

The opening of this exhibition took place on January 22, 2020, marking the beginning of an event that ran until May 4, 2020. It was an opportunity to discover iconic works from artists who question and reinvent the idea of travel, whether real or symbolic, physical or emotional. Visitors had the chance to appreciate a wide diversity of mediums and artistic approaches, from the most contemporary creations to classic works reinterpreted in a new light.

iDzia was honored to participate in this event as the technical provider, responsible for the installation of sound and lighting. Our team set up a customized technical solution to support this large-scale exhibition. The sound installation, crucial for creating an immersive atmosphere, was designed to provide an optimal experience for each piece, whether it was a video, an interactive installation, or a sound sculpture. We used high-quality equipment to ensure clear and consistent sound distribution across all exhibition spaces, respecting the subtleties of each artwork.

Regarding lighting, our goal was to highlight each piece in a way that accentuated the details while maintaining the intimacy of the visitor experience. With adapted lighting installations, we were able to create varied atmospheres, from soft lighting for certain pieces to more dramatic lighting for others, depending on the design of each installation.

The collaboration with MuCEM and the teams responsible for the exhibition was an enriching and inspiring experience for iDzia. As a company specializing in technical management for cultural events, we are proud to have contributed to the success of this event, which allowed visitors to escape into the world of contemporary art and creation. The "Voyage Voyages" exhibition offered a space for reflection on mobility, identity, and the transformation of travel in the modern world, and iDzia was delighted to contribute to the realization of this artistic project.
