Mixlab in Fest
The first edition of the Mixlab in Fest took place on July 1, 2023, at the unique POP venue in Arles. This festival marked a significant moment for the local music scene, offering an exciting night for electronic music enthusiasts and those passionate about discovering new talent. The event featured a lineup of nine DJ sets, showcasing a mix of emerging talents and a few special guest performers. Throughout the night, the festival provided a diverse musical experience that captivated the audience from start to finish.
Beyond the music, Mixlab in Fest emphasized the spirit of community and togetherness, with food trucks offering a wide range of delicious dishes, as well as a large bar area where festival-goers could socialize and unwind. Additionally, a second-hand clothing market was set up on-site, allowing attendees to find unique pieces and express their individual style through vintage fashion.
The iDzia team was proud to contribute to this event by providing the technical installation for sound, lighting, and structure. To ensure a top-quality experience for the festival-goers, special attention was given to the acoustics of the venue. The sound system was meticulously tuned to offer perfect immersion, capturing the essence of each DJ’s mix, from the rising stars to the guest performers. The sound installation was designed to cover the entire space while maintaining clarity and emphasizing the deep basslines that define electronic music.
Simultaneously, lighting played a crucial role in creating the festival’s atmosphere. Dynamic light displays accompanied each DJ set, crafting an ever-changing ambiance that energized both the dancers and those simply enjoying the spectacle. The lighting installations not only enhanced the energy of the performances but also transformed the POP space into a true party environment.
Mixlab in Fest was a resounding success, where music, light, and collective energy came together to provide an unforgettable experience. Thanks to our team’s efforts, attendees enjoyed a high-quality event in a unique venue in Arles.
