The Glanum Festival, which took place from July 20 to 22, 2019, offered a unique musical experience, highlighting the beauty of the ancient Glanum site in Saint Rémy-de-Provence. This festival, which has become a must-attend event in the region, attracts a large audience every year, passionate about music and history. This year, iDzia had the honor of participating in this event by providing the technical installation of the sound system, a crucial element for ensuring optimal sound quality.

For the 2019 edition, we had the opportunity to introduce a brand new sound system, the Soundscape by d&b audiotechnik, an advanced spatial sound system that provides an immersive, high-quality listening experience. This system revolutionizes the way the audience perceives music by creating a three-dimensional sound environment. Unlike traditional systems, the Soundscape allows for precise sound direction, providing uniform sound coverage across the entire site and enabling every spectator, regardless of their location, to enjoy an exceptional sound experience.

The Glanum site, with its rich historical heritage and ancient ruins, provides a unique setting for such an event. Each year, the festival organizers strive to combine culture, music, and history in an exceptional natural environment. As technical partners, we worked on implementing this innovative system, which enhanced every musical performance by perfectly harmonizing the sound power with the site's specific acoustics. This system was designed to preserve the richness of the sound while respecting the integrity of the location, creating a magical and immersive atmosphere for the audience.

The Glanum Festival is an event that highlights not only the beauty of music but also the richness of history. Thanks to our sound installation, we were able to offer the audience an unprecedented experience, where every note and rhythm resonated with clarity and precision never before achieved.
