On June 16, 2023, the real estate agency Emile Garcin celebrated a major milestone: its 60th anniversary. This exceptional seminar, held in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, gathered 140 members of the Emile Garcin family, all united to mark six decades of history and success. Since its founding, the agency has established itself as a leader in the luxury real estate market, and this anniversary was an opportunity to pay tribute to this remarkable journey. The event not only celebrated the agency’s history but also honored the dedication and passion of its employees, who continue to carry the brand forward through the generations.

The Carrières des Lumières, located in Les Baux-de-Provence, served as the majestic setting for this evening. These former white limestone quarries, used in the construction of the Baux castle and city, offer a unique atmosphere. Closed in 1935, they were largely abandoned before becoming an iconic site thanks to Jean Cocteau’s vision. In 1959, Cocteau, captivated by the raw beauty of the location and its spectacular surroundings, chose to film scenes for his movie Le Testament d'Orphée on this land. Today, the Carrières des Lumières has been transformed into a digital art center, hosting internationally renowned immersive exhibitions. Classified as a "Natural Site," it is now managed by Culturespaces and has become a true artistic gem, providing the perfect backdrop for prestigious events.

For this special occasion, iDzia took care of all the sound, lighting, and structural technical aspects to enhance this iconic venue. The team worked meticulously to highlight the raw beauty of the site while creating an intimate and elegant atmosphere for the anniversary event. The sound installation was carefully designed to perfectly integrate with the natural acoustics of the Carrières, adding an immersive dimension to the experience. Similarly, the lighting was subtly used, playing with the space’s volumes and shadows, transforming this historically rich location into a magical and modern space, while respecting its unique historical character.
