10 years of High Art gallery
The High Art Gallery recently celebrated its 10th anniversary in an exceptional setting: a historic amphitheater, beautifully lit by our team to create a magical atmosphere that balanced the intimacy of the event with the grandeur of a place rich in history. It was an unforgettable moment of celebration, where art, light, and history met perfectly, offering guests a unique sensory experience. We had the privilege of enhancing this iconic venue by applying our lighting expertise to highlight every corner of this majestic amphitheater.
Founded in 2013 in Paris, High Art quickly established itself in the contemporary art world with an ambitious and bold program. However, it was in 2020 that High Art took a new step by settling into the 12th-century Romanesque Chapel of Madeleine, located in the picturesque Hauture district. This place, full of history and spirituality, provides a unique setting for exhibitions, allowing contemporary art to interact with the architectural heritage of great richness.
Since its relocation to the Chapel of Madeleine, High Art has been offering an annual, demanding program, refreshed every two months, attracting attention from art lovers and collectors around the world. The gallery invites talented international artists such as Matt Copson, Cooper Jacoby, and Willa Wasserman, who, through their works, push the boundaries of contemporary art and offer captivating visual and emotional experiences. Each exhibition is an opportunity to discover bold and innovative creations, with a particular focus on the diversity of mediums and artistic approaches.
Light, an essential element of the exhibition, played a central role in this landmark event. By lighting the amphitheater subtly and immersively, we allowed the venue's architecture to blend harmoniously with the works on display, creating a multisensory experience where the past and present intertwined with elegance.
In celebrating its 10th anniversary, High Art Gallery once again demonstrated its commitment to bringing contemporary art to life in constant dialogue with its surroundings, while offering a prestigious platform for today’s artists to express their vision of the world. A bright future lies ahead for the gallery, with exciting projects to come.
